When you upload files to GhCyberPrep, those files may be processed by third-party security services, including VirusTotal (a Google LLC service), to detect malware and other threats.
• A cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of the uploaded file is submitted on every upload • If the hash is not recognised by the security service, the file content itself may be transmitted for analysis • File metadata (name, size, type) may be included in the analysis request
By uploading a file to GhCyberPrep, you explicitly consent to this processing. If you object, you must not upload files to the platform. This processing is disclosed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012 and the UK GDPR where applicable. Files identified as malicious will be quarantined, removed from the platform, and will not be accessible to any user.
When you interact with AI features on GhCyberPrep (including the quiz generator, flashcard generator, past question assistant, and blog assistant) the content you submit is processed as follows:
• All AI interactions are logged for safety, quality, and abuse detection purposes • Submitted content is automatically screened for patterns consistent with prompt injection, jailbreak attempts, and other forms of AI misuse • Interactions flagged as suspicious are retained for review by our team • This data is stored securely and is not used for training third-party AI models
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in protecting the platform, its users, and the integrity of AI-generated content. This processing is necessary to detect and prevent abuse, comply with our obligations under applicable law, and maintain the security of the service.
