About the Role
Join our engineering team to build the future of education technology in Ghana. You'll work on our Next.js frontend and Node.js backend, creating features that impact thousands of students daily.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features across our full technology stack
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Participate in code reviews and help mentor junior developers
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or similar)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js and serverless architectures
- Background in education technology
- Contributions to open-source projects

- Collaborate with engineering to optimize content delivery
- Analyze student performance data to improve content effectiveness
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in education or content development
- Deep understanding of Ghanaian educational system (WASSCE, university curricula)
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Experience managing creative teams
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

- Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Maintain and evolve our design system
- Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure design quality
Requirements
- 3+ years of product design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX skills
- Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools
- Understanding of accessibility standards
- Experience with user research methodologies
